Our Store Policies

No-Show and Cancellations:

When a no-show/late cancellation occurs, it creates a large block of time that impacts both our stylists and other guests. We understand that things happen; however, we would like you to respect our stylists’ time as much as we respect yours. We kindly ask that you give us a minimum 48 hour notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We require a deposit for all new clients. Your deposit will go toward your appointment costs. Should you cancel your appointment before the 48 hour window, your deposit will be refunded. Should you cancel inside the 48 hour window, you forfeit your deposit. We take up to a 30% deposit depending on the service. Depending on the service, the requested 48 hour minimum cancellation window may increase.

‌If you do not have a deposit for your appointment because you are a returning client and you cancel under 48 hours/no show, we take up to a 30% deposit depending on the service upon reschedule. The cancelation policy will now be in effect.

Running Late:

We understand life is crazy and things happen. If you are running more than 10 minutes late (according to our clock), the appointment may have to be rescheduled. We will do what we can to get you in as soon as we can, but let us know as soon as possible if you are going to be late. The no-show and cancellation policy may apply.

Haircut and Color Adjustments:

We pride ourselves on the quality of our work and strive to ensure that every guest leaves 100% satisfied. If you find that you are unhappy with the end result of your service, we are more than happy to make any needed adjustment to your hair within one week of your most recent appointment. We do not offer refunds or complimentary services as a result of a change of mind.

Product Return:

For products purchased in the salon, if you are not satisfied you may exchange it within 7 days from the purchase date for an alternate product of equal or lesser value. Exceptions to this are purchased hair for extensions and any products that were a part of a bundle; these are non-returnable.

Salon Etiquette:

Florida State Board of Cosmetology only permits approved service animals inside salons. While we love pets, we cannot allow them inside our salon and we do not want them to be left in your vehicle. Please leave animals at home.

We love children. For your child’s safety, we strictly prohibit unsupervised children at Foil + Pin Parlour.

All guests must wait in designated waiting areas if they are not receiving a service per Florida law. This will ensure that all guests are afforded the most relaxing and enjoyable service possible. After all, your time here should be about you.

Lash Appointment Policy:

To ensure the best results and a smooth experience during your lash appointment, please review the following guidelines.

Before Your Lash Appointment:

  • Arrive with Clean, Makeup-Free Lashes: Please come to your appointment with no makeup, creams, or oils around your eyes. Clean lashes will ensure the best adhesive bond and overall results.
  • Remove Contacts: Remove any contact lenses before your appointment to avoid discomfort during the session.
  • Dress Comfortably: Your appointment may last 2–3 hours. Please wear cozy clothing like a sweater and yoga pants to help you feel relaxed and comfortable during your session.
  • Avoid Caffeine: It’s best to avoid caffeine (including coffee) before your appointment. This will help keep your eyes still and reduce any potential jitteriness.

During and After Your Appointment:

  • Post-Appointment Care: After 2–3 hours, your stylist will reveal your beautiful new lashes, comb them out, and provide aftercare instructions to help you maintain your look.
  • Use Lash-Safe Products: To maintain the longevity of your lashes and ensure their health, we offer a range of lash-safe products for purchase. We recommend using these products to properly care for your extensions.
  • Pre-Book Fills: Lash fills are recommended every 2–3 weeks to keep your lashes looking full and fresh. Please pre-book your appointments to ensure availability.
  • Cleanse and Brush Regularly: Cleanse your lashes regularly with oil-free cleansers and brush them gently with a spoolie after they get wet to prevent clumping and maintain their shape.

Responsibility After Your Appointment:

  • Once you leave the salon, it is assumed you are satisfied with your eyelash extensions unless you immediately notify us of any issues. We cannot be held responsible for lash loss or damage occurring after you leave due to factors beyond our control, such as improper aftercare, rubbing your eyes, or exposure to excessive heat or oil. Please review our aftercare instructions carefully and contact us immediately if you have any concerns.

IBE Hair Extensions Policy:

Thank you for choosing our salon for your IBE Hair Extension needs. Please read the following terms carefully before proceeding with your extension service:

  1. Consultation & Deposit:
    • A 50% deposit based on the quote provided during your consultation is required to place your hair order.
    • The remaining 50% of the quote will be collected on the day of installation.
  2. No Refunds:
    • As with all hair extension services, there are no refunds once the service has been completed and the extensions are taken home. This policy is in place due to the unique nature of the work and the variables involved. Once the hair is installed and you leave the salon, the salon is no longer responsible for the condition of the extensions. Proper care is essential for maintaining their quality.
  3. Home Care Guidelines:
    • To ensure the longevity and health of both your natural hair and extensions, please follow these key guidelines:
      • Protect from sun damage: When choosing a sunscreen for your body, make sure it is a mineral sunscreen containing titanium dioxide and zinc oxide. Avoid sunscreens with avobenzone or oxybenzone, as they can damage the extensions and cause them to turn pink or peach.
      • Use Goldie Locks Products: We recommend using Goldie Locks hair products to help maintain and extend the life of your extensions. Sold at Foil + Pin.
      • Detangle daily: Gently brush your natural hair and extensions before bed to remove tangles. You can use a wide-tooth comb or a detangling brush to keep hair smooth and tangle-free.
      • Protect with a braid or bun: Secure your hair in a loose braid or bun with a silk or satin scrunchie. This prevents your hair from rubbing against itself, reducing split ends and tangling.
      • Sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase: Silk or satin pillowcases reduce friction, which helps with frizz and maintains your hairstyle. These fabrics also help prevent tangles and split ends.
      • Avoid sleeping with wet hair: Sleeping with wet hair extensions can cause matting, frizz, and bacteria growth, potentially leading to scalp infections.
      • Apply serum: Apply a serum to the ends and mid-lengths of your hair every single day to keep extensions nourished and prevent dryness.
  4. Salon Responsibility:
    • The salon is not responsible for any damage caused to the extensions due to improper care or failure to follow the home care guidelines.

By proceeding with your consultation and service, you acknowledge and agree to the above terms.
